Everything you need to know before your evening
Planning your evening at Comptoir Darna? Find answers to all your questions below — from booking and show times to menu, dress code and private events. If you can't find your answer, contact us directly at contact@comptoirdarna.com.
You can book via three channels: online at sevenrooms.com/reservations/comptoirdarna, by phone at +212 524 43 77 02, or by email at contact@comptoirdarna.com. Online booking is the fastest and most convenient option.
In high season (April–October), book at least 3–4 days ahead — the restaurant fills quickly, especially on Friday and Saturday. In low season, 1–2 days is usually sufficient. For special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, groups of 6+), book 1–2 weeks ahead.
Walk-ins are possible if there is availability, but not guaranteed — especially at weekends and during peak season. We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Yes. You can leave your seating preference (terrace, near the stage, quieter area) in the notes section of your online booking, or specify when calling. We do our best to accommodate all requests, subject to availability.
The live show — belly dancers and Gnaoua musicians — begins at 10:30 PM (22h30) every evening. The DJ and club atmosphere continue until 3:00 AM.
No separate ticket. The show is fully included in your dinner reservation. Simply book your table and enjoy the full evening — dinner, show, and club — from one booking.
Each evening features: oriental belly dancers with different choreographies nightly, live Gnaoua musicians (a UNESCO-listed music tradition from Morocco), and a resident DJ playing oriental deep house, ethnic tribal and Arabic electronica. The show changes each night — no two evenings are identical.
Souktronic is Comptoir Darna's monthly special night, inspired by the souks of Marrakech — featuring raw, punchy, tribal electronic sounds and a guest DJ lineup. It's the most vibrant electro night in Marrakech. Check our social media for dates.
Smart casual is strictly required. The following are not permitted: shorts, flip-flops, sandals (for men), sportswear, tracksuits. Think elegant evening wear — Comptoir Darna is one of Marrakech's most prestigious venues and the dress code is part of the experience.
A full evening at Comptoir Darna costs approximately 600–900 MAD per person (around £50–75), including a full Moroccan dinner. Drinks and cocktails are additional. There is no minimum spend for the show.
Comptoir Darna is at Avenue Echouhada, Hivernage district, Marrakech. The Hivernage is one of Marrakech's most prestigious neighbourhoods — 10 minutes by taxi from Jemaa el-Fna square and 5 minutes from most 5-star hotels. View on Google Maps →
Yes. Street parking is available on Avenue Echouhada and in the surrounding Hivernage streets. Most major hotels in the area are within a 5-minute walk. Taxis and ride-sharing apps (Careem, inDriver) are widely available.
Children are welcome for dinner. After the show starts at 10:30 PM and the club atmosphere increases from midnight, Comptoir Darna becomes primarily an adult venue. We recommend families plan their evening to leave before midnight.
Comptoir Darna serves Moroccan gastronomy with Mediterranean influences: starters, harira soup, pastilla (the famous Moroccan savoury-sweet pie), tagines, couscous, and oriental desserts. All dishes are prepared with fresh local produce and traditional Moroccan spices.
Our signature pastilla is prepared fresh in limited quantities each evening. We recommend mentioning your interest in the pastilla when booking — our team will reserve one for you and notify your server on arrival.
Yes. Please mention your dietary requirements when booking. Our chef can prepare a full vegetarian Moroccan meal. Most tagines and salads can be adapted. Vegan options are available with advance notice — please mention when booking.
Yes. Please mention all allergies clearly when making your reservation. Our team will coordinate with the kitchen to ensure your safety. Common allergens (nuts, gluten, dairy) are present in many Moroccan dishes, so early notice is important.
